Naturopathy

Welcome to JBSoulscan!

Naturopathy is a branch of complementary medicine that encompasses a number of different disciplines. This website will briefly describe some of them, include hits, tips and diets and help to find the answers how to support the organism and heal the disease.

The role of the Naturopath is to promote healing through educating their
patients on how to lead a "natural" way of life. Within Naturopathy the major disciplines practiced are Nutrition, Western Herbal Medicine and Homoeopathy. In Australia Naturopaths may also practice some form of bodywork such as Remedial Massage.

The methods and therapies used in naturopathic medicine have been the subject of scientific research in peer-reviewed journals from many disciplines, including naturopathic medicine, conventional medicine, European complementary medicine, clinical nutrition, Oriental medicine, phytotherapy (herbal medicine), pharmacognosy, homeopathy, psychology and others.

Premenstrual tension (PMT) or Premenstural Syndrome (PMS)

PMS includes recurrent signs and symptoms that develop during the seven to fourteen days prior to menstruation. This condition occurs in most women 3-7 days before the flow starts or in some women it can begin at the time of ovulation and last for 14 days until the flow starts. Usually the symptoms are mild in most of the cases, but in few cases they can be severe when it is known as "Premenstrual dystrophic disorder".
